The Environmental Management Bureau-10 (EMB-10) participated the First Quarter Online Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) scheduled today March 11, 2021, which was conducted by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC). A livestream via Facebook Live and Youtube was launch by NDDRMC to share information on earthquake preparedness practices. The ceremonial pressing of the button (sound of the alarm) was held at 2 P.M where the audiences of the livestream were encouraged to “DUCK, COVER, and HOLD”. NSED exercises such as evacuation drills and physical interaction were suspended in adherence to the minimum health standard due to pandemic COVID-19.
